Welcome to Mackay Christian College, where we believe strongly in providing a ‘Christian Education on Purpose.’
Mackay Christian College is a multi-denominational, co-educational, independent school in Mackay, Queensland, for Kindergarten to Year 12 students. We also provide an Outside School Hours Care Program (OSHCare).
When choosing a school, parents tell us that, most importantly, they are looking for an educational community where their children feel safe and cared for. Parents are also seeking a school that offers a broad range of quality opportunities that challenge their children to reach their full potential – academically, emotionally, physically, socially, and spiritually. Choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you may ever make.
At Mackay Christian College, we aim to inspire students to pursue a wide variety of interests, develop their intellectual curiosity and creativity, and help them understand the importance of caring for others through service and by following foundational Christian values.

Reflecting their Christian faith, MCC teachers believe that every student is a unique creation of a loving God who has a plan and a purpose for their life.
Teachers and support staff aim to help students discover their unique gifts and talents and then to learn how to apply them to become a successful, contributing member of society.
The College's mission rests upon lived Christian values following the example set by Jesus Christ (Christlikeness), a persistent approach to achieving quality academic outcomes (Learning), demonstrating a well-organised life in study habits and dress (Excellence), building caring relationships and resilience (Attitude) and teaching respectful interactions through discipling processes (Respect).
