CLEAR Pathways Program

The CLEAR Pathways Program is a full-time, flexible learning option for Year 11 and Year 12 students who demonstrate readiness for increased responsibility and independence while remaining fully enrolled at Mackay Christian College. 

This program allows students to drop one timetabled subject and use that time strategically to: 

• Focus on maintaining and improving performance in the remaining Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) subjects 

• Complete additional certificates or vocational qualifications to ensure they still receive a minimum of 20 QCE credits 

• Participate in purposeful workforce preparation, including structured workshops, work experience or meaningful employment experiences aligned with post-school pathways 

This is not a part-time schooling arrangement. Students remain full-time students at the College, subject to College expectations regarding attendance, behaviour, academic effort and pastoral oversight.

College fees are charged at the standard scheduled Year 11 and Year 12 amounts, as per the Mackay Christian College Fee Schedule.
